Anderson's Pest Control can rid your home of spiders as well as the pests that are feeding them. If you have a spider issue or any other pest infestation in your home, call our experienced spider control technicians.
Once we identify the spider problem, we will explain our treatment plan, which may consist of controlling other pests too. Then we will wipe down webs and apply non-residual or residual insecticides as appropriate for the infestation.
It's critical to sign up for our quarterly pest control prevention program because spiders are a red flag of more pests. There is no way to keep them out of your home if it has the food they are searching for. Schedule inspection.
Discovering large populations of spiders on your property is an indicator of an overall pest problem. Spiders only invade areas that provide them easy access to their insect prey. Spider and insect infestations go hand in hand. The biggest reason that spiders are in your home is that they have followed their insect prey indoors, so if you have spiders in your space there’s a good chance you have other pests such as roaches, earwigs, mosquitoes, flies and more. Unlike other insects, spiders have 8 legs, no antennae, and only 2 body regions. They are called Arachnids. Spiders are predators and primarily feed on other insects. Some larger species have been known to feed on small animals, like lizards and baby birds. Spiders have fangs that inject venom into their prey. With the exception of a few species, the venom in spider bites is usually harmless to humans.
